Through a minority interest joint venture with Glaseados Originales S.L., Krispy Kreme has introduced its signature Hot Light Theater experience to Spanish fans for the first time. The opening drew massive crowds of eager customers lining up before dawn to taste the brand’s legendary Original Glazed doughnuts.

Spain’s debut location in Madrid is just the beginning. Two additional shops are set to open before the end of the year, and over 50 new Krispy Kreme shops are planned across the country in the next four years. Expansion will include flagship Hot Light Theater Shops in key cities such as Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga, Zaragoza, and Bilbao, serving as both retail destinations and production hubs.


Growth Across Brazil 🇧🇷

Following its successful entry into Brazil earlier this year, Krispy Kreme is strengthening its presence in São Paulo through a joint venture with Ipiranga’s AmPM. Two additional locations will open before the end of 2025:

  • One flagship store with the brand’s new shop design and immersive doughnut theater.
  • One compact kiosk, ideal for high-traffic city streets.

Each location will offer core favorites and regional specialties — including Brazil’s beloved dulce de leche and cinnamon sugar doughnuts — baked fresh daily.


Sweet Beginnings in Uzbekistan 🇺🇿

Krispy Kreme’s global footprint continues to grow as it enters Uzbekistan for the first time. Through a franchise partnership with Food Town Logistics-Group, LLC, the brand will debut in Tashkent, the capital city, this October. The franchisee aims to rapidly scale operations, with 70 shops planned over the next five years, bringing Krispy Kreme’s joy to a new region of eager doughnut lovers.
